Most of us go our entire life never considering self-defense until the very moment we need it. And then it’s too late.
We see myths on television and in movies which make up the core of most people’s training. We think having a cell phone, a weapon or a firearm, for example, is all the protection we need. We brag about what we would have done in the dangerous situations we enjoy watching. We are wrong.
From kindergarten through college, we are never required to learn self-defense. We never think about it, seriously, until we need it. We are immersed in developing our careers, raising families, and keeping our bills paid.
